@flwwhtrbt yes, but the rise of #piracy is mostly due to #Enshittification with #malware like #denuvo which is just bad.
- As in barely less shit than #StarFORCE but as annoying as #SecuROM and certainly more resource-hungry than anything before.
#Steam by comparison doesn't get in the way of users, and instead acknowledges that one cannot sell a game for β¬25+ in Brazil and they really did tackle that with regional pricing...
- Not great but better β¬5 than β¬0 revenue.
