Go to the Stagecoach WWW site and see the maps of where a local DayRider ticket takes you. Do they actually include your own location?
For example: Put in Swindon Town Centre, and you'll be shown the Oxford Plus DayRider, which doesn't cover Wantage, let alone #Swindon. And this is "Plus".

Alright, it limits the range of travel to mainland Great Britain and to the choice of Stagecoach and National Express (now that First is gone); but at least you aren't legally dead in the interval between dematerialization and rematerialization.

I didn't take any pictures of the Great Progress across the country of The Chair That Is Too Big To Fit In A Car. There were lots of traffic jams, and 100% more #motorways than planned at the outset.
Also an insane #StagecoachBus driver that decided to undertake everyone on a 3 lane dual carriageway and merge, at speed, at the last minute at a lane 1 closure.
I do have a couple of other pictures ready to go on PixelFedApp.UK when it comes back up, though.
