L’ha aspettata al suo rientro a casa, l’ha accoltellata e ha poi tentato di strangolarla. È successo a Castrovillari, in provincia di Cosenza dove un 30enne ha aggredito una donna dopo un rifiuto. La vittima ha riportato gravi ferite alla testa e alla schiena: si è salvata grazie all’arrivo di un amico che ha messo in fuga l’aggressore. L’uomo invece è stato arrestato dai carabinieri con l’accusa di tentato femminicidio.
Il 30enne, un conoscente della vittima, ha tentato più volte di convincerla a instaurare una relazione, nonostante i ripetuti rifiuti della donna.
Dopo averla aspettata sotto casa, le ha strappato di mano il cellulare e l’ha colpita più volte con un coltello. I carabinieri, coordinati dalla Procura di Castrovillari, sono riusciti a ricostruire quanto accaduto grazie ad alcune testimonianze e alle immagini della videosorveglianza. Le indagini sono iniziate dopo che gli agenti hanno ricevuto la segnalazione del ricovero di una ragazza ferita al Pronto soccorso. Il 30enne è stato fermato nella sua abitazione, dove sono stati trovati e sequestrati due coltelli, gli abiti e il veicolo utilizzato per fuggire, tutti con tracce presumibilmente di sangue.

The Carabinieri, coordinated by the Castrovillari Prosecutor’s Office, were able to reconstruct what happened thanks to some witness testimonies and surveillance footage. The investigation began after agents received a report of a girl injured in the emergency room. The 30-year-old was stopped at his residence, where two knives, the clothes, and the vehicle used to flee were found and seized, all with traces presumably of blood.
