New Yorkin reissun (2006) kolmas matkapäivä joka oli myös vuoden viimeinen päivä toi muassaan kuumeen. Kävin päivällä syömässä lounaan ja hakemassa apteekista jotain troppeja sekä lähikaupasta juomista ja syötävää. Tuolla reissulla menin luistinradan ohi ja samalla otin kirkasta taivasta vasten kuvan pilvenpiirtäjästä. Myös goottimainen kadetraali sattui hotellin ja apteekin välille.

Otin illalla sen verran särkylääkettä, että kuume laski ja kävelin keskuspuiston laidalle katsomaan miltä uuden vuoden vietto New Yorkissa näyttää.
