This thing is fly under the radar.
From last month, Indonesia Ministry of Technology and Communication blocked access to auth.wikimedia.org.
The domain were used to authenticate users across Wikimedia, meaning that Indonesian user cannot contribute to Wikipedia/Wikimedia.
And last week, THEY also blocked Wikimedia Commons.
Thanks to the backlash and push from Indonesian user, Wikimedia no longer blocked.
Nobody still unsure why this is happened, but the most possible reason is THEY want Wikipedia to register to PSE (basically they must obey the law, which we all know meaning of censorship attempt).

Habis blokir domain "auth", terbitlah blokir domain "commons".
Katanya bakal di-"normalisasi", woi.

While #Wikipedia contains millions of articles and #WikimediaCommons have tons of photographs and other media, #Wikidata contains a structured data that describe the world around us.
Our member Eugene finished improving the data for the barangays of the municipality of Minalabac in Camarines Sur, #Philippines 🇵ðŸ‡, in Wikidata and also mapped them in #OpenStreetMap, linking the two datasets with each other, thereby expanding the network of linked #OpenData.

There’s an interesting development about this map that I uploaded to #WikimediaCommons in 2024. Former Associate Justice Antonio Carpio bought the original paper map and recently gifted it to the National Library of the Philippines.
