Проблема: Байты сильнее времени Решение: Метрика «Data Safety Window» Конфигурация — это лишь декларация о намерениях. Реальное окно жизни данных диктует нагрузка в моменте. Чтобы не гадать по конфигам, я внедрил расчет фактического запаса времени в Grafana.

The experience I had today onboarding a new job after so long being out of work was just intense all the way around. Overwhelmed and out-of-breath is how I felt today.

But I'm tired of the firehose metaphor. It is just too one-dimensional for me. Nobody puts a fucking hose to their mouth, it's just not accurate at all.

I found it to be more like when you've willingly paddled head first into the ocean and a wave pulls you under and then the next one does and you're spinning before suddenly everything shifts dizzyingly the opposite direction as you feel the rip pulling it all back before looking up to another swollen saline backhand that takes you under again.

That's what today felt like. Joyous, like the ocean.
