If you got too old or otherwise hurt and couldn't play your accordion what would you do? I can't imagine not playing my accordion. One option is to get out my stand, put my Roland on "no bellowing required" and play. But we all know that bellowing is the soul of the accordion. Ok, how about...

Delighted managed some accordion practice, too long after recent neuro illness flare. Light headed by end, but right hand (piano keyboard) working well. Practiced ABBA Thank You For The Music, Speechless from Disney Aladdin, and here my first go at Bella Ciao, adding improvised right hand harmonies. #Music #Accordion #Squeezebox

Gerade #Tidal, #Deezer und #Quobuz selbst durchgetestet.
Was bei uns wichtig war:

1. Funktioniert die App auch #offline tadellos, wenn die Firewall sie vom WWW trennt (weil gerade nicht im WLAN)?
=> Frustriert schnell, wenn man nach Feierabend auf dem Fahrrad sitzt und ständig hängt das Ding.

2. Gibt es ein Plugin für unseren Lyrion Music Server (#LMS), so dass eine #Squeezebox / #PiCorePlayer gefüttert werden kann?
(Auch hier sind Amazon, Apple und YT/Google raus.)

3. Taugen Recommender und Benachrichtigungen zum Wochenende?
(Ich suche lieber selbst, aber SWMBO sieht das leider anders...)

#Spotify hat außerdem "exclusive" Podcasts, die man nicht einfach per AntennaPod catchen kann. 😏

@tofticles De andre forslag er sikkert også super. Men hvis det KUN er til musik vil jeg anbefale #Lyrion Music Server, som jeg har brugt i umindelige tider.

- Synkroniseret afspilning på tværs af enheder.
- Softwareafspillere til computere og telefoner.
- Hardwareafspillere til stereoanlæg eller køkkenbord (#Squeezebox, der ofte dukker op på DBA til fornuftig pris).
- Et væld af plugins.
- Hack dit eget lort sammen oven på flot Telnet-interface.
- Fri software.

Time to ditch my Chromecast devices. Just installed Lyrion Music Server on my Raspberry Pi home server, powered up the ESP32-A1S Audio Kit I bought recently that has squeezelite-esp32 on it, added the Squeezebox (Lyrion Music Server) integration to my Home Assistant server and bam! instantly there's an awesome track playing in the attic.

In unserem Haushalt läuft ein #Lyrion Music Server (ex #Squeezebox Server). Momentan ist darüber im Haus für alle Familienmitglieder #Spotify über einen Familien-Account zu hören. Alternativ könnte ich zu #Deezer oder #Tidal wechseln. Allerdings basiert unsere Haushalt-IT weitestgehend auf Open-Source-Software, und so soll es auch bleiben.

Welche Plattform würdet ihr empfehlen und warum?

I don't know if this is still relevant for you, but: In search for something not entirely related, I stumbled upon your blog post about Squeezeboxes (I hope your Radio has arrived in the meantime). You mention you were missing a TUI, so I'd like to point your towards my things for controlling Squeezeboxes from a terminal: Cursebox. It may be a little rough around the edges, but if it works for you, I think the user base will double :)
