Took off at #EDPW with officially 346m of grass #runway! 🛫 I always hesitated and cancelled that visit in my former #Katana #DV20 years, but with #Sperling and its #STOL capabilities I could finally go for it! 🥳 No wind, ~680kg and 27°C. 🌤️ That feeling racing towards that crop field and passing the point of no return just for the sake of some scribbled calculations is so thrilling! 🪂 That was a nice jump! Also because the #Skydive #Pilot wanted to show me the #PA18 he flies in his free time... which we happened to see in midair during ascent to dropping altitude and had a little intermission formation flight! 🛩️ I'll see if I get some fellow #skydiver's action cam footage... but I could see the #Cub on the ground afterwards anyway. #AvGeek #aviation #taildragger #Spornrad
