Literally watching the sun be enveloped by a haze of smog in real time. It's kind of surreal and beautiful in a creepy and terrifying sort of way.

Even as we try to destroy it, nature, the ecosystem, earth, the solar system, and the universe are beautiful. And they will persist, whether human beings do or not.

(Also, much like photos of the moon, smartphone photos of the sun just don't do it justice.)
