I really liked this first volume of #spiderisekai! It really did feel in a lot of ways like the good bits of Arifureta Vol. 1, where the main character is still Commonplace and everything seems weird and scary and very lethal. In both cases, the main character is just constantly on the edge of death, and is often having to come up with shit to barely get by.
Now that I think about it, also kinda describes Rise of the Shadow Rogue, huh...
Anyway, it's all of the above, and also funny as hell xD
