One thing I really like about this book that I've noticed near-immediately is its very informal (at least when the spider's telling the story) prose style xD #spiderisekai
I get the impression Okina Baba had just a lot of fun being in this character's mind xD #spiderisekai
I really liked this first volume of #spiderisekai! It really did feel in a lot of ways like the good bits of Arifureta Vol. 1, where the main character is still Commonplace and everything seems weird and scary and very lethal. In both cases, the main character is just constantly on the edge of death, and is often having to come up with shit to barely get by.
Now that I think about it, also kinda describes Rise of the Shadow Rogue, huh...
