My obligatory #introduction post! ๐Ÿ‘‹ In my day job Iโ€™m an Academic Fellow in #Geography at #UniversityofBristol. I research issues of #energypoverty and #spatialinequality using quantitative techniques (think #maps #Rspatial #RStats). My current project explores #AmbientVulnerability in cities ๐Ÿ—บโšก๏ธโš–๏ธ Outside work I love to cycle, visit old pubs and new places, collage and craft, eat salty snacks (not exclusively), and play football (in an attempt to offset the salty snacks) ๐Ÿšฒ๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ’›
Hi folks - an #introduction
I'm an environmental epidemiologist researching air pollution and extreme temperature #geospatial modeling and #epidemiology ; love #rstats #ReproducibleResearch and #satellite data #EarthObservation ๐Ÿ›ฐ๏ธ #ClimateChangesHealth #spatialinequality
@angela welcome ๐Ÿ™‚ #spatialinequality means stuff like Schelling's classic model of segregation or the question why most supply chains end in #China ?

Hey folks! Glad to be over here. #Introduction time:

๐ŸŽ“ I'm a PhD student at Princeton in the Sociology and Social Policy program, affiliated with the Office of Population Research.

๐ŸŒ† I'm interested in questions of #spatialinequality and urban policy. How does place shape the life chances of individuals? What can we do to make this more equitable?

๐Ÿ—บ๏ธ My background is in public policy/geography/econ, with a dose of open-source #rstats and #rspatial goodness.

Say hello!
