There is often a common misconception between "a single person can say any single thing" and "all people must be able to speak" when talking about this topic
Some people interpret the former and some interpret the later. And the thing that preserves our human rights is the later, not the former. And in order to preserve our rights, the later must take more weight. "A single person can say any single thing" yes, but since "all people must be able to speak", if the single thing this single person is saying hurts the others, the others have a right to fight against that and contradict that.
This is basic ethics. I don't think what is so difficult to understand about it.
