An album by Soda P Released 2025-12-04 Soda P's first EP from 2001. Released by Zabel.
This was one of, if not the first Norlin model. Some people despise it which I can understand, this guitar differs quite a bit from Dewey Finn's favorite, but I just fell in love with this guitar when I first saw it. I will never part from it. Bought it when I was recovering from a hefty traffic accident, I've played hundreds of shows with it and it features on the two full lengths I released with my band #SodaP back in the 1990s and 00s.
I was also asked to present the event and to do a reunion show with my old band Soda P. That was getting too much so I indicated that playing some songs with Rusty Cage was enough for me.
Rusty Cage is the same band as The Tourist except for my position, they asked someone else when they got together again. It's someone from their own inner circle and he's a way better guitarist so that makes sense.

Talking about Wet Leg. There was this kid that came to all our #SodaP shows during our club tour back in 2002. He was really into photography but he also turned out to be a networking talent. About 10 years ago his photography career really took off and now he's a staple of the Dutch music photographers scene.
And guess what, he did a photo shoot with Wet Leg recently for De Volkskrant, a Dutch newspaper.

Trip down memory lane with this one. Not sure when I bought it but it was a new copy. It was a heavy inspiration when we started with #SodaP and it will be a lifelong influence on my personal songwriting.
True hardcore is hard to find.
Love this album so excruciatingly much that I start jotting down unintelligible phrases.

Teruggevonden tijdens het #opruimen. Staat een #SodaP nummer op welke ik verloren waande. Is een outtake van onze eerste plaat Downbuilt.
Heb net het eerste boek van #Duin herlezen en tijdens het luisteren realiseerde ik me dat dat boek onbewust de inspiratie moet zijn geweest voor dit nummer.
