My anecdotal evidence is engagement is down over 90% of what it use to be post layoffs. It's kinda like the manipulation there was turned off ( up and down vote on the ❤️'s as well as post view numbers ) has changed and a new algorithm of 'iF you DON'T PAY then you get #deboosted i.e. #muted on searches, hastags, and wotnot' nonsense.

I followed mostly news and infosec and government stuff and tons of cat accounts and the only reason I seem to have stuck around is mainly for the cat account contents but most of that content is slowly migrating over to #Web3 so....

Now I spend less than 30mins a day engagement wise there and even that now seems like... Too much. 🤷‍♂️

The tide 🌊👋 has changed in #SocialMediaOnePointOh when #MainstreamMedia says to #MarkZuckerbergs face:
