I don’t often take photos of my car but since it turned 21-years-old and passed 180,000 miles recently I thought I’d give it a much needed wash and take a pic.
It’s showing its age and needs a good amount of work but it starts, runs and stops when required so it’s not doing too bad ☺️

Front battery case and mounting design finally finished and sheet metal orders. Will arrive to be welded in a week or so. In the meantime, I’m making progress on where to get required throttle, brake and reverse signals from on the ECU harness.
Well, there’s your problem… 😒
The standard headlights on my Smart Roadster are dreadful on a good day (think candles in jam jars) so losing one is a major safety hazard.
A simple enough solution, although I did have to disassemble much of the front of the car to change them 🤦🏼♂️
Why to car manufacturers do that?! 😖
