It's spring-ish today on the Canadian prairies, and while I was out running errands a car cruised by me in the parking lot. A little Acura coupe with the sunroof open, and a dog's head [1] sticking up out of it, loving the breeze, the smells, and the sights of all the people.

It was a good day.

[1] What looked like a cross between a husky and a border collie - pretty sure its IQ was higher than anyone in the US administration's cabinet.

This is Derek.

He is the hearing half of a hearing-deaf couple, occasionally posting funny stuff involving sign language, jokes, corgis, or some weird combination of the above on TikTok, YouTube and Insta.

In this video clip, D explains how their Corgi picks up on the couple's sign language (btw it's American Sign Language = ASL), and does so very precisely. 😄
