Made a quick trip to the #LegoStore today - had some Craigslist money burning a hole in my pocket and this #ModelT has been on my #wishlist ever since I heard about it. Also hit the #PickABrick wall while I was there.

#GoodDay: Our little project has hit a big wall. You can do that kind of thing online only it seems, because Google chrome does not allow camera usage from a local html file. So installed a little program called Simple HTTP Server on Android, which is all good and loads the Makaton interpreter/translator perfectly...*if* it can access an IP address. On holiday in Vidal in December, there is no Celphone signal in camp...so that idea is useless because I have to have an IP addres to even be able to load the engines, even though they claim to be offline! The only way forward that I can see is to preload all the makaton signage things using Google Media Pipe, then compile all of that squek into an APK file...of course google will probably not let me install it because the Samsung Galaxy A15 runs Android16 currently, but that's the only solution I see for tackling the language barrier, between a blind person, and a person who can't physically speak but uses Makaton and Small-hands sign languages, which are mostly visual representations of things...Html couldn't work for it, but maybe APK can.

I’m absolutely exhausted and ready for some evening relaxation.
But it's been a good day.

The trip went well, I was treated to a great lunch at a nice local restaurant, the people were extremely pleasant, two Proxmox servers are already in production along with a Proxmox Backup Server, and there's a project in the works for outsourcing backups and some setups.

Back home, I went for an 11 km walk in nature, with 24°C and a wonderfully pleasant climate.
Dinner, and now it’s time to relax.

Yes, tonight I’m going to bed with a smile.

Ich hab letztes Jahr angefangen zu lesen und auch relativ viel für ein Jahr. Dieses Jahr habe ich noch kein einziges Buch gelesen und ärgere mich etwas darüber und dachte mir letztens, ich könnte Mal wieder anfangen. Ich bin nur bei der Buchauswahl total überfordert. Nun standen heute 2 Buchreihen auf Arbeit in der Küche zum verschenken. Hab mir natürlich beide genommen.

Manchmal einfach das Leben machen lassen.
