Collie habits
After the usual walks and run, we have a habit of strolling down to the river for his afternoon swim - when the river is low enough, not always the case in winter and spring. And of course a ball comes with us.
He likes to play ‘roll the ball down the gradient’ watching carefully all the time as it rolls (I am too slow obviously and he has to keep occupied). I was amused to see another collie, visiting I assume, doing exactly the same thing.

Luckily (for the dug) there are a lot of puddles. Memo to self, his water bottle comes tomorrow.

A woman and her Border Collie recently took a scary fall, dropping 180 feet down a waterfall while hiking in New Zealand last week. We got out yesterday for stroll in the sunshine after the previous day's rain and before the forecast rain in the afternoon.
The Loch Glascarnoch track isn't the most exciting or longest walk, but it has views, and no burns in spate to cross. So... reliable.
We got out into the sunshine this morning.
