Und Deke #Slayton ? Er erkrankte und konnte jahrelang nicht fliegen. SpΓ€ter war er Teamleiter des Astronautencorps und flog letztlich im Apollo-Soyuz-Test, wo sich erstmals Astronauten und Kosmonauten im Weltraum trafen.
