Someone among the Corinthian #Christians had #sinned. #Paul had written to them to deal with that situation. Most of the Corinthian Christians had put him under #discipline.

So I realized something interesting, or something came to a thought.
So in the #oldtestament everyone that #sinned essentially had died, within that timeline in the #bible.
Why or how Is it that #Satan seems to had survived those times, practically being one of the biggest #sinners of all known in the #bible. Not only committing the worse of sins, but also the larger number of sins over time, continuing even to this day.
How is it that Satan is left roaming even to this day, and seemingly left unpunished by #god .
Is it because Satan became an #angel that went #rogue, and had more protection due to being an angel that had their own will?
I don't know what it could be or could had been. But Satan is still up to their old tricks to this day.
#Christians are also chosen by God. Christians have no intrinsic merit or virtue so as to deserve God's love and favor.
All have #sinned and fallen short of God's glory; #God reconciled us to Himself in #Christ as a sheer gift which cannot be repaid.
Yet Christians are also called upon to make every effort to be sure of their calling and election.
Election and #faithfulness in #obedience are not contradictory principles.
