@cbcbc_mirror #BCNDP & federal Liberals don't care about respecting #IndigenousRights. They have blown millions of tax dollars to sue Indigenous peoples in BC & they sic RCMP on native land defenders. #Colonizers never really changed & are still abusive/exploitive. I am a two minute walk from the #ColumbiaRiver. Anyone who lives nearby is reminded repeatedly of how important it is & how vulnerable we are - to droughts, climate disasters like fires and now more than ever, US influence on this irreplaceable resource.

My town draws its drinking water from the reservoir & it is crucial to the health of forest, animal and fish. I can see signs of the old #Sinixt settlements along its shores. We must protect it.
