Change of pace, today. I want to share this awesome video by Setting Sun Circle in #bellinghamwa #lummination #coastsalish

"Setting Sun Circle is a 17,000 sq. ft. immersive storytelling and cultural experience center in downtown Bellingham. It will be a space where storytelling, innovation, and Indigenous Knowledge meet the urgent challenges of our time."

Here's the link to their promotional video about the future of the space they are renovating, now. It's stunning. https://settingsuncircle.org/setting-sun-circle

Not to be confused with Namgis Nation artist/carver, Joe R. Wilson, born in Alert Bay.

I met Harold Joe, a #Cowichan based #Indigenous knowledge keeper/teacher, actor & film producer, in 2015. He had come to Victoria to audition for a lead role in the Telus Optik webseries that I worked on for a few years. We casted him.
He's now co-owner & producer at Orca Cove Media with my old film production executive producer, Leslie Bland.

There's two #IndigenousFilm screenings at #UVIC in March with 2 films from Ocra Cove.
