My second #FreshHop beer of the season was Lookin' Fresh Fresh Hop #IPA from #SingleHillBrewing, an ale that was actually brewed in July using frozen fresh hops (presumably from last year's harvest). Does that count?

Northwest Beer Guide shared a post on Instagram: "In recognition of Winter, we gave @singlehillbrewing’s Osa Minor and their Overstory a go. . . . An American stout, designed for shorter days and longer nights, @singlehillbrewing's OSA Minor looks and feels robust but not because of its ABV. Instead consider OSA Minor to be more akin to a late afternoon cup of coffee or a warm up to your evening. . . . Named for the formation of mature trees that blend above the forest floor, @singlehillbrewing's Overstory is a blend of mature barrels. The result is something that has notes of dark chocolate, roasted malt, and vanilla. . . . A followup to their Single Malt edition, @singlehillbrewing's Overstory continues the metaphor of blending mature barrels together to make something unique. This time around, the brewery has source peated whiskey barrels to produce a beer that has notes of dark chocolate, peated malt, roasted coffee, and very noticeable alcoholic warmth. #photography #photoftheday #beautiful #instamood #instadrink #instabeer #beer #beerme #beerlover #beerporn #beerstagram #craftbeer #beertography #craftbeerlife #drinklocal #winter".
