Some seemingly sophisticated argument for the #SimulationHypothesis by "techbros" (Musk being the most eminent one) use this basic logic :
"in the past we moved at the speed of a few km/h, then we invented cars and reached 100km/h, than airplanes and we reached 1000km/h...even with the smallest rate of progress, it is unavoidable that in the future we will exceed even speed of light! Just deal with it"
...similar fallacy arguing for this reality being a simulation.
Someone asks me why do I even care about the #SimulationHypothesis .
Take this example though:
you'r the richest person on the planet. Surely not the smartest, but incredibly influential. In the hypothetical scenario posed by the interviewer, you get only one question to ask the first Artificial General Intelligence machine.
What do you ask? How to reduce inequalities? How to stop global heating? What's before the Big Bang? How to cure cancer? No, you ask...

Do we live in a simulation? -> NO, I think we can prove we cannot be in a "Matrix" scenario of being simulated by future descendants in this Universe.

The combination of a) physical existence being a higher thermodynamic entropy state compared to a computer which is simulating that existence, b) an enclosing MWI quantum universe being a considerably bigger, fluctuating machine for generating conscious experience, leads me to think that the former will generate conscious experience at a much greater rate than the latter. So I think #SimulationTheory is not correct.
