Keep in mind dishonest #China had officially claimed that #SimonCheng had «sought contact to illegal prostitutes in Shenzhen and had been arrested for that». His story sounds decidedly different and links his arrest in August to the ongoing #protests in #HongKong. Chinese officials added slander to torture in this case. And yes: They overstepped a number of red lines in this matter. #StandUpforHongKong #saynotoChina
#SimonCheng, the employee of #Britain's embassy in #HongKong who got abducted (aka *arrested*) on a business trip to Shenzhen in August, claims he got shackled, handcuffed and blindfolded with a bag over his head before being subjected to #torture by policemen claiming that he head been inciting riots in HongKong. #China is a rogue nation that routinely resorts to torture and violations of #humanrights. This needs to stopped. #StandUpforHongKong #saynotoChina
That is #China's #ForeignMinistry spokesmen Geng Shuang, for the record. Both #GreatBritain AND #HongKong need to protest against the kidnapping of #SimonCheng. #FreeSimonCheng
