Dopo l'annuncio fatto ieri dal presidente Usa Donald Trump su "colloqui ottimi" in corso tra gli Stati Uniti e il regime degli ayatollah, inizialmente smentiti dall'Iran, oggi Teheran ha fatto sapere di aver ricevuto un 'messaggio' dagli Stati Uniti, tramite i mediatori. "Tramite mediatori, abbiamo ricevuto considerazioni dagli Stati Uniti e sono allo studio", ha detto a Cbs News un funzionario del ministero degli Esteri. La rete precisa che si tratterebbe eventualmente di un passo che potrebbe preludere a colloqui. E il Pakistan si è offerto come mediatore dicendosi "sempre pronto a ospitare colloqui" a patto che "le parti lo desiderino", ha affermato alla Bbc il portavoce del ministero degli Esteri di Islamabad, Tahir Andrabi.
Intanto un missile balistico lanciato dall'Iran contro Tel Aviv ha causatooggi il ferimento di sei persone. Secondo la polizia, il missile aveva una testata con cento chili di esplosivo e ha causato danni a diversi edfici e auto. Immediata la risposta israeliana. Secondo quanto riferisce il sito di notizie israeliano Ynet, le Idf stanno attaccando siti per il lancio di missili e altre strutture nell'ovest della Repubblica islamica.
Un attacco congiunto attribuito a Stati Uniti e Israele ha colpito infrastrutture del gas nelle città iraniane di Isfahan e Khorramshahr, riferisce l'agenzia iraniana Fars, secondo cui a Isfahan sono stati presi di mira un edificio amministrativo del gas e una stazione di decompressione, con danni alle strutture e ad abitazioni vicine. A Khorramshahr, l'attacco avrebbe interessato un gasdotto collegato a una centrale elettrica; il governatore locale ha riferito che un ordigno è caduto all'esterno dell'impianto senza causare vittime. Gli attacchi, se confermati, contrasterebbero con quanto dichiarato dal presidente Trump, che aveva indicato una sospensione delle operazioni contro infrastrutture energetiche. Continuano anche i bombardamenti di Israele sul Libano.
Oggi un nuovo raid a sud di Beirut sulla città di Bshamoun, nel distretto di Aley, ha provocato almeno due morti, come ha reso noto il ministero della Sanità libanese.

The network specifies that this could eventually be a step that could lead to talks. And Pakistan has offered itself as a mediator saying it is “always ready to host talks” provided the “parties so desire,” the spokesperson for Islamabad’s Foreign Ministry, Tahir Andrabi, told the BBC.

Meanwhile, a ballistic missile launched by Iran towards Tel Aviv today injured six people. According to police, the missile had a warhead with 100 kilograms of explosive and caused damage to several buildings and cars. An immediate Israeli response followed. "Nonostante la minaccia di ricorrere alla forza per imporre l'unificazione, qualora lo ritenesse necessario, e per contrastare quello che percepisce come un tentativo degli Stati Uniti di usare Taiwan per minare la sua ascesa, la Cina preferisce raggiungere l'unificazione senza l'uso della forza, se possibile", si legge nel documento. Questa valutazione contrasta con quella espressa dal Pentagono alla fine dello scorso anno, quando un rapporto indicava che la Cina aspirava a "combattere e vincere" una guerra per Taiwan entro la fine del 2027.
L'incontro tra Trump e Xi Jinping
La pubblicazione di questo documento è avvenuta alla vigilia dell'incontro previsto a Pechino tra Donald Trump e Xi Jinping, la cui data è stata rinviata su richiesta del presidente statunitense a causa del conflitto in Medio Oriente. The U.S. Intelligence Report
According to the 2026 Annual Threat Assessment Report, published Wednesday and drafted by U.S. intelligence, Beijing authorities will continue to seek to “create conditions for a possible reunification with Taiwan, without resorting to conflict.”

“Despite the threat to resort to force to impose unification, if necessary, and to counter what it perceives as a U.S. attempt to use Taiwan to undermine its rise, China prefers to achieve reunification without the use of force, if possible,” the document reads. This assessment contrasts with that expressed by the Pentagon at the end of last year, when a report indicated that China aspired to “fight and win” a war over Taiwan by the end of 2027.

The publication of this document took place on the eve of the meeting scheduled in Beijing between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping, whose date was postponed at the request of the U.S. president due to the conflict in the Middle East.
