@amirul_muh6 RT by @badiucao: The ban on goods from #China-based companies involved in forced labor is a step in the right direction, but it's just the beginning. More pressure must be applied to end these abuses.#SayNoToChina @badiucao https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-adds-three-entities-forced-labor-entity-list-involving-uighurs-2023-09-26/ https://nitter.hongkongers.net/amirul_muh6/status/1707369789973500155#m

Keep in mind dishonest #China had officially claimed that #SimonCheng had «sought contact to illegal prostitutes in Shenzhen and had been arrested for that». His story sounds decidedly different and links his arrest in August to the ongoing #protests in #HongKong. Chinese officials added slander to torture in this case. And yes: They overstepped a number of red lines in this matter. #StandUpforHongKong #saynotoChina
#SimonCheng, the employee of #Britain's embassy in #HongKong who got abducted (aka *arrested*) on a business trip to Shenzhen in August, claims he got shackled, handcuffed and blindfolded with a bag over his head before being subjected to #torture by policemen claiming that he head been inciting riots in HongKong. #China is a rogue nation that routinely resorts to torture and violations of #humanrights. This needs to stopped. #StandUpforHongKong #saynotoChina
Way too many #50cent army members getting active on Western media to spread #Beijing's view of recent events in #HongKong, claiming it's all orchestrated by the #UnitedStates to discredit the protestors. Seriously: This #propaganda effort is worrying as it might be paving the way for a bloody intervention by #China's #PLA and other armed security forces that shoot to kill. #StandUpforHongKong #saynotoChina
