Did you know that your #Commodore #VIC20 / #VC20 can have HDMI output once you plug a #Sidekick20 cartridge into its expansion port?

Here is an example (https://youtu.be/NF0QikNZOrw ) of the HDMI picture while playing the game Cheese And Onion (https://misfit.itch.io/cheese-and-onion)

#Sidekick20 is the same as #Sidekick64 combined with an adapter. It's an open source project by Frenetic based on a #RaspberryPi . You can build it yourself. https://github.com/frntc/Sidekick64

#sidekick64 with a #RaspberryPi 3A. Ok compromise zu the Zero 2W if you don't have one :-)
After hours of trying to find out why my #c64 #sidekick64 module doesn't work at all, I noticed that I don't actually own a #RasPi Zero 2, but 1....
So here we go, salvaging a big RasPi 3 and trying with that. Looks horrible, but hey.
More to come :-)
