After 38 hours of waiting to finish booting I am now finally able to log in to Linux on my Commodore 64.

You might have read it today already: Linux Kernel 6.1.46 can be booted on Commodore 64. It only takes a week until you can login. There is a Github project explaining all the details and I am currently livestreaming the boot process. In case you are interested:

Would it be possible to squeeze 100 well-known C64 games into one C64 demo so that each game is featured with graphics, animation and sound? It does happen in the new demo "Next Level" by Performers where Pex "Mahoney" Tufvesson (known for Amiga Soundtracker) managed to squeeze 100 game impressions on one floppy disk - the whole demo consists of four disk sides... and won best demo on X'2023 in June.
Doom on Commodore 64? Several attempts were made by the demo scene to create a Doom-like experience on the C64. Some are for the unmodified C64, some for the extended C64 with SuperCPU. Some use the additional CPU power of a C128.
Frenetic has just released his tech demo for the C64 with Raspberry Pi based RAD Expansion Unit. See for yourself: https://youtu.be/tG2TMkBB6JU

The open source cartridge "RAD Expansion Unit" emulates a Commodore REU (RAM Expansion Unit) or GeoRAM while connected to a real C64 or C128. I was able to solder it with a classic soldering iron although it contains SMD parts.
As RAD is a software-defined cartridge based on a Raspberry Pi, other use cases are also entirely possible such as: https://youtu.be/C--TlxjOwLs
