So #Unlocked (2017) is the next movie to be cleared out of the TiVo.
It's strange to watch a movie where (a) 'pre-paid mobile' is used instead of "burner 'phone", and (b) everything that the baddie monologues about at the dénouement pretty much came true three years later.
It would have been alright, albeit not really reaching Le Carré levels of spy intrigue, back then. In 2026 it just looks silly. We've had COVID, and the people with the baddie's objective are pretty open about it now.
I'm guessing that Bloom the production company is related to one of the actors.
It would be a change if one day #scriptwriters decided that '5' was 'Security Service', and realized that there are tonnes of more secure and discreet meeting places in #London with decent Tube access than bloody Tower Bridge yet again.
