A highlight of this time of year is the presence of #Eckerts #peaches at #Schnucks. To me, they are unsurpassed in flavor.

For years, they would show up just as we were to begin vacationing in northern #Minnesota, and we would pick up a box on the way out of town. They traveled well if hard as a rock upon purchase.

Applesauce pouches that gave children lead poisoning may've been contaminated on purpose, #FDA says.

WanaBana recalls its #WanaBana, #Weis, & #Schnucks apple cinnamon fruit purée pouches & cinnamon apple sauce.

It's suspected the lead was introduced somewhere in the ingredient supply chain, possibly cinnamon from Ecuador.
