Birger and i have been working on the introduction to scent work to catch my #POTS episodes, and it's been a couple of days of this now. I have to post this! I decided today was a good day to housework. This included sweeping the stairs in the house. I was doing well, but Birger followed me. He sat on the step above where I was sweeping and sat watching me, refusing to look away. Each step I moved down, he would move down a step. He continued this while I swept in the kitchen, refusing to stop watching me. I will admit I was sweating but wasn't aware until I looked down at my fitbit. My heart rate was 145 bpm, so I went and sat down. He continued on with his day but kept looking at me periodically. My sweating stopped and heartrate regulated, and then he went on with his ray and started playing. I don't know if this is a fluke or if he's actually already understanding the scent training I'm doing with him. Either way, I'm incredibly proud of him, and I'm constantly reminded of what a smart boy he is. I love him and I'm so proud!
