Just got a scam call.

It was a person purporting to be from Blockchain.com, and sharing that they would release an account with 4.2 bitcoins for a $500 fee. This is called an 'advance' scam, which collects money from a victim and then disappears without fulfilling the promised action.

I asked them if their parents were proud of what they did. She said she was in customer service, and that it was a very, very personal question. So I asked again.

They hung up.

@JoeRess Don't you use Telegram extensively? Instead of just accepting donations via #scamcoin Telegram built their own #Cryptoscam, called TON.

The only way to get away from this crap is to use a proper, federated messaging protocol. #XMPP has been around for 25 years now.
