#WritersCoffeeClub for January 13: What’s your favourite trope? Do you lean into it for your work or shy away?

I write to find a vision beyond the naturally occurring patterns of the universe. Obviously tropes exist for a reason and are simply labels for the types of stories we naturally write. However, to my mind the whole point of escaping into a story is to break free of those patterns in order to bring new things into our old reality. So I don’t even think about them. #SaveTheOA
