I just had a couple of successful heal-n-toe downshifts during my morning commute to work. I parked the car (in the remotest corner of the lot as usual), had no one to share my achievement with, and just walked to the building with a smirk on my face. 🤓 #savethemanuals #SaveTheManual

All temps, sensors were all nominal. No stored OBD2 codes. Just completely quit between shifts.
I have religiously taken care of all maintenance items before the "normal" service intervals. I send oil samples to oil analysis labs on a regular basis.
I flew to New Mexico to buy this car as it was one of 3 manual transmission models in the US for sale at the time.
To say I'm upset about this is an understatement.
Shop I had work done has a 50K mile warranty on parts/labor. I'm hoping whatever happened is covered, but that's not really a consolation given the sudden nature of the failure.
No oil trails, no inspection holes, only a smell of clutch under the hood. I wish I had a better idea of what happened. I had the car towed back to my shop so they can diagnose the issue.
