After setting up this account, I've cycled back into looking around for Sailor Moon art. (I suck at watching TV, so this is the next best thing.)

Anyway, remember that Sailor Moon redraw meme few years ago? Where it was a single panel that one was supposed to redraw in their own style? Or just something different? Well, I went onto Pixiv and found like, 200 of those and set them as my wallpaper rotation for every minute.

What's nice with this as opposed to different art is that it's closer to a single picture, so it doesn't get old like too few wallpapers on a cycle get.

As I mentioned on last week's show, Roshan Studios advertised a limited edition run of Sailor Moon resin statues... Luna and Artemis as Serenity and Endymion, in their cat forms. I pre-ordered Artemis and it arrived today. Holy crap it's amazing! It's also 1:1 too!

Never got around to finishing my version of the #sailormoonredraw in 2020, but today I tried again and here we are, three years later. 😵 I wanted her to look more angry than the original and of course THE CAT had to be included. For some reason that I do not remember I also ended up changing the whole pose.

SO! This one is very special to me. Why? These two pieces are a couple years apart. They're the same picture, but it shows the progress I've done in a couple of years.

Often we feel like we're not improving, and I was in that boat until I did this comparison.

First was done in 2019; second I did in October 2022. :D And it makes me SO happy! 😘 So you know: don't give up. Practice really does work!
