"'Israel' shuts down probe into Ghana Pegasus spyware deal

“Israel” has closed its investigation into the NSO Group-linked Pegasus spyware deal in Ghana without taking action, years after convictions in Accra.

Israeli authorities have quietly closed their own corruption investigation into the NSO Group spyware deal with Ghana without taking action, six years after a Ghanaian High Court convicted three public officials for causing a $4 million financial loss to the state.

In May of that year, Justice Eric Kyei Baffour of the Accra High Court found the three officials guilty of violating procurement laws and conspiring to steal and launder public funds. The court ruled they had unlawfully contracted with Israeli company NSO Group to purchase the Pegasus spyware system for the National Communications Authority (NCA).

The deal was brokered through a third party, Infralocks Development Ltd. (IDL), NSO Group’s local representative, without the required approval from relevant Ghanaian authorities.

The court found that one of the officials personally profited $200,000 from the transaction. All three were sentenced to various prison terms. However, George Derrick Oppong, a former Director of IDL, was acquitted and discharged."

Knox is now used to remote control all Samsung/LG devices in USA/CA but neither Samsung nor TMobile will tell you who is the administrator (aka users 0 & 1)
