Sometime after I got the Aegis Sonix music sequencer, my Amiga 2000 also got upgraded with the Sound Master - an external audio digitizer that was able to record in 8 bit and 22 kHz, quite a feat for a computer that ran on an 8 mHz CPU! My favourite software on the Amiga was perhaps Aegis Sonix, a surprisingly capable combination of sequencer, score editor, sampler and synthesizer. Since I started playing piano right around the time I got my Amiga, it was perfect for learning to read and write musical score. When I got my first keyboard sometime later, I also had a MIDI interface from Kawai that worked with Sonix!
