I've been experimenting with cantamus.app for vocal synthesis,
Here is an earlier piece of mine in German:
'Wann war ein Mensch je so Wach' (Rilke) The contrast between the joy of morning and the perils of the night, and Rilke’s fascination with contradiction, are reflected in contrasting vocal lines.

I definitely prefer #SATB choirs, but hearing our #SSAA choir perform often does manage to send chivers down my spine.

"Oh-ooh-oh, oh your city lies in dust..." - #SATB

#MountEtna erupted early Monday morning, sending plumes of volcanic ash into the air above Sicily and forcing tourists to flee as seismic activity surged.

Of course I had to play my theme song -- #CitiesInDust by #SiouxsieAndTheBanshees (when I had regular gigs at the Goth club, folks would just expect me to play it -- and it *is* one of my favorite #SATB songs off my favorite SATB album - #Tinderbox).

"Water was running, children were running
You were running out of time
Under the mountain, a golden fountain
Were you praying at the Lares' shrine?
But oh, your city lies in dust, my friend
But oh, your city lies in dust, my friend..."

We don't need no stinkin autotune. In the last iteration, autotune performed by the Gsnap plug-in was a processing step, but it feels counter productive since the point of multitrack (12) is to get some richness. So here is My Flock again at the recorded tempo of 100 bpm. Pitch errors are my own. #formant #Gform #SATB #Psalm23
Next iteration on My Flock. This has twelve tracks, three in each part. Tracks in each part were recorded separated by half steps and the Gform formant plug-in was used in audacity at a different settings for each track to get some individuality. All of this is my voice. Imagine a twelve member chamber choir spread out across a stage in sections. This is a new setting for the 23rd psalm. #psalm23 #audacity #formant #Gform #SATB
This is still pretty rough, but I'm interested in how the formant plug-in Gform used in audacity can get kind of close to SATB using just my voice in this treatment of the 23rd psalm titled My Flock. #audacity #Gform #SATB
