I've finally watched Furiosa.

It was good.

I had seen a trailer with very bad CGI in it or something, and it made me not wanting to watch the movie. I tried tonight and it was good. (probably another trailer release before the movie in ready, why are they doing this?)

So, yesterday I watched "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga", a few years late.

I feel there's a few plot holes, but I liked it quite a bit.
Decent acting, nice visuals, ok plot.
Some crappy CGI at some point, but overall very enjoyable.

Maybe it's because I was a kid in the '80s, I just can't get enough of that kind of post-apocalyptic imagery.

Tonight's viewing - Furiosa, a Mad Max saga, courtesy of our local Library. A movie that starts with lots of really heavy North American accents talking frantically about things like 9-1-1, then drops all that to zoom in on the Green Place, an oasis in deepest, reddest Outback Australia.

Still, the motorcycle chase captured us, so judgement has not yet been passed.

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga (2024)

Una precuela que sigue la vida de Furiosa desde pequeña hasta que la conocemos en Fury Road. Es el mismo estilo, aunque la trama pausada mostrando diferentes etapas en su vida es demasiado calmada comparada con lo frenético de Fury Road.

Hace un poco más de worldbuilding mostrando Citadel, Bullet Farm y Gastown, pero paradójicamente saber más del páramo hace que pierda realismo.

No está mal, pero no se compara con Fury Road.
