"None of the officers involved in the fatal beating of Brooks appeared to be black.
The fatal beating of Brooks was recorded on bodycam, but the audio was turned off, even though the officers were required to leave the audio on.
At one point in the video, one of the correctional officers appears to put something in Brooks' mouth before punching him several times in the face. One of the officers can also be seen punching Brooks in the groin.
In the video, the officers can be seen smiling while Brooks remains handcuffed with his face covered in blood."
