One of those weird coincidences I thought I’d post. I caught an episode of “Rising Damp” on TV today, and it really dawned on me how much I miss this wonderful show. When I Googled it out of interest, I discovered Leonard Rossiter sadly passed away this very night (October 5th) in the wings of London’s Lyric theatre in 1984.
“Rising Damp” was a perfect example of flawless casting in a golden age of comedy, and I sincerely miss it!
