#RightToAcquit protesters say that juries have a right to hear all that defendants have to say, and that if judges ban the mentioning of climate change that removes crucial context of protesters' actions.
Say a firefighter is accused of kicking in a door but is not allowed to mention the people he wanted to rescue from the burning house:
"Just by removing the context you move that person from being a hero you want to applaud to being a villiain you want to lock up."
