It occurred to me just now that Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital is actually less weird than its source material, and while that's unquestionably true -- Kingdom Hospital doesn't have The Baby, for example -- the notion rings weirdly in a lot of ways.

Like, Stephen King made something less weird? And Kingdom Hospital is less weird?

Those possessed of a desire to learn more are advised to look up Lars von Trier's Riget, preferably without a cent passing to him because he's also a piece of work.
