I can’t lie: this was a hard painful day…saying goodbye to the man that made me who I am today. Being able to get up in front of everyone at the service & share my thoughts and memories about Pop simultaneously took a small amount of the pain away and made me miss him more.

Now, time to begin trying to adjust to whatever this “new normal” is supposed to be.😕

And apparently, my new objective is to NOT cry whenever I hear “The Battle is The Lord’s” by Yolanda Adams. #BlackMastodon #RestWellPop
