[Self portrait: I am sitting on the floor of an almost empty room, leaning against the bottom of a sofa that is turned over. From the colour of the wallpaper it is visible where the Schrankwand had been standing for decades.]

Two days ago (my knees still shaking) I received official and final decision (second instance), granting me a caretaker's allowance at the level of minimal wage for indefinite period.
Essentially, it is my pay for full time taking care of my wife, @kanako . But, as I have been doing this job anyway, It feels more like a #UBI or #PassiveIncome than #ReproductiveWork compensation.

It will last as long as she, I and the state exist. For me, 20 years will do.

Second day of our building week and some rooms are already hardly recognizable. We have a few working sites across Kanthaus where people are working in small teams. Coordination and #reproductiveWork (cooking, cleaning, child care…) is also significant, with about 20 people in the house.
