Does anyone have any experience with #Renode ?
I've been told that it might be better for simulating embedded systems, and I've been getting rather frustrated with #QEMU

.@Antmicro’s open source #Renode embedded systems simulation framework is being used to help transform the development process for complex, multi-node applications in the #automotive industry. Developing and testing with Renode in heterogeneous, multi-node automotive use cases

Curious about CPU RTL co-simulation in #Renode? Read our recent blog to learn more about new possibilities for developing new CPU core IP and combining it with @renodeio’s vast portfolio of peripheral IP for a complete system that is able to run software: https://riscv.org/blog/2023/02/cpu-rtl-co-simulation-in-renode/

CPU RTL co-simulation in Renode - RISC-V International

RISC-V International

I'm currently in a rage fit.

Long story short, I try to emulate a #firmwate I wrote in #renode
When I simply run the image, everything runs smoothly.
But as soon as I attach GDB and start to run the image, I'm getting BusFault errors (i.e. the exception handler is called).

Maybe this even comes from VScode trying to access some memory automatically?

Let's start this thing with the latest webinar we made for #ZephyrIoT : https://hubs.la/Q01rQ70x0

We talk about #Renode, our open source simulation framework for embedded systems and #Renodepedia, a database of contemporary hardware almost fully autogenerated from Zephyr data.

Renodepedia (Video) - Zephyr Project

Antmicro introduced Renodepedia, an extensive database of contemporary hardware powered by Renode, the open source simulation framework, using Zephyr as one of the key data sources, in a webinar on November 3....
