Here is Messier 83 (The Southern Pinwheel galaxy), seen here in a new image from The Cosmic Companion.

This composite image from The Cosmic Companion is composed from 24 exposures recorded on 14 April over two hours in red, green, blue, and luminesce wavelengths using the 0.6-metre CHI-1 telescope, available from Telescope Live.

Finally found time to download & process this image of the #WhirlpoolGalaxy taken by the 2 metre #LiverpoolTelescope via #NationalSchoolsObservatory on 25th July 2022. It's a single 120 sec photo through a red filter. I processed it using Photoshop CS2 + Fast Stone #Galaxy #RemoteTelescope
