AGI - Prosegue la visita di Kate Middleton a Reggio Emilia focalizzata sulla filosofia educativa del "Reggio Emilia Approach". Questa mattina la principessa del Galles è in vista in una scuola d'infanzia che mette l'ambiente al centro dell'apprendimento. La seconda tappa la vedrà impegnata al centro di riciclaggio creativo Remida, progetto culturale di sostenibilità e ricerca sui materiali di scarto. Prima di tornare a Londra, la moglie del futuro re britannico farà una sosta in un agriturismo, nel Parmense, dove tolti gli abiti reali indosserà il grembiule in versione 'rezdora' partecipando alla preparazione delle eccellenze culinarie emiliane.

Ieri la moglie dell'erede al trono britannico, William, è stata accolta dal sindaco di Reggio Emilia Marco Massari che l'ha accompagnata municipio per ricevere il Primo Tricolore come tributo al suo impegno per l'infanzia.
In piazza hanno sventolato anche bandiere inglesi. E i più fortunati hanno potuto assistere all'arrivo della principessa dalle finestre dei palazzi storici che affacciano sulla piazza.
Massari ha poi consegnato il Primo Tricolore a Kate in omaggio al suo impegno per l'infanzia. Un riconoscimento ricevuto tra gli altri, le ha spiegato il primo cittadino in Municipio, anche dal Maestro Riccardo Muti e dal premio Nobel Giorgio Parisi. La principessa si è detta onorata. Massari ha poi rivelato un aneddoto raccontando la storia di Antonio Panizzi, patriota e biografo che è anche stato direttore della biblioteca del British Museum, dove c'è un busto in suo onore.
Lasciato il municipio, Kate ha poi visitato al Centro internazionale Loris Malaguzzi, il quartier generale del Reggio Emilia Approach. Nella grande struttura ricavata da un vecchio magazzino di formaggio (nell'area delle ex Officine Reggiane), ha incontrato educatrici e insegnanti e toccato con mano l'approccio dei 'cento linguaggi'.
